How to choose your wedding flowers
Often times when brides contact me about starting a quote for them they are often baffled about how to go about choosing their wedding flowers. They don’t know where to start, what types of flowers will complement themselves and their themes and a lot of them dare to be different and don’t want to choose the same types of flowers and styles that are the most popular choices.
Here’s what I recommend. Start with your favorite flower and build from there. If you do not have a favorite flower, what was the first bouquet of flowers your fiancé ever bought you?
The most popular trend right now that I am seeing for this year (2011) is blue dresses, accented with bright colors like bright yellow, bright pinks, and bright oranges. Daisy’s and roses are always great elegant choices, but don’t forget orchids, lilies, and dahlias.
